





Blake Bunker is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Breakwell, where he leads the firm’s strategic vision, investment platform, and development activities.
Prior to founding Breakwell, Blake co-founded Okland Capital in 2017, a real estate investment and development platform affiliated with Okland Construction. There, he built and led the firm’s investment strategy, development and project pipeline, growing it to more than $800 million in development, acquisition, and repositioning opportunities across multifamily, hospitality, senior living, office, medical office, retail, storage, land, and mixed-use assets. Over the course of his career, Blake has overseen the acquisition, entitlement, and development of more than 3 million square feet of real estate and over 1,500 residential units. His experience includes complex public-private partnerships, municipal coordination, and development agreements. He was also instrumental in the creation and development of Gilbert Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Home, a first-of-its-kind project in the region.
Earlier in his career, Blake served as Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Avista Senior Living, multi-family development and acquisitions at Shea Properties, and began his professional career at PwC, where he earned his CPA. In addition, Blake served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, teaching in the Master of Real Estate Development program with a focus on multifamily development.
Blake holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He currently serves on the Arizona State University Real Estate Advisory Board.
Brigg Bunker is a Co-Founder and Partner at Breakwell, where he helps shape the firm’s strategic vision and establish its institutional-grade standard.
Concurrently, Brigg serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of PEG Companies and is a Partner at Blue Diamond Capital. In these roles, he provides leadership across investment strategy, capital formation, operations, and strategic growth within diversified real estate investment and operating platforms.
Previously, Brigg served as Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Foulger-Pratt and as a Managing Partner at Okland Capital, a real estate investment and development platform affiliated with Okland Construction. At Foulger-Pratt, he oversaw construction, development, acquisitions, and corporate services. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate at Buchanan Street Partners and served as Development Director at Sares-Regis Group, building a career spanning institutional investment, development, acquisitions, and operating platforms.
Over the course of his career, Brigg has led or overseen investments, developments, and operating platforms spanning 15,000 multifamily units, 1 million square feet of retail, 1.6 million square feet of office, and 1.4 million square feet of other commercial and land assets. He is focused on disciplined value creation through operational excellence and value-oriented partnerships.
Brigg has long been committed to supporting leading children’s hospital systems through philanthropic leadership and service. He has served in leadership roles with Children's National Hospital and currently serves on the foundation board of Rady Children's Hospital of Orange County, helping advance initiatives that support pediatric care, research, and access for children and families. This work reflects a longstanding commitment to strengthening institutions that serve vulnerable communities.
Brigg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
Brennan Shaffer is a Partner at Breakwell, where he leads the firm’s investment, acquisitions, and development activities.
Prior to joining Breakwell, Brennan served as Vice President of Development at Okland Capital, a real estate investment and development platform affiliated with Okland Construction. As the firm’s second hire and longest-tenured employee, he was instrumental in building and shaping the firm’s strategy and growth, helping develop a portfolio exceeding $800 million across multifamily, hospitality, retail, office, medical office, land, and mixed-use assets. His experience covers the full acquisition and development lifecycle, including deal sourcing, joint venture structuring, entitlements, construction management, leasing, financing, and dispositions.
Brennan began his professional career at Okland Construction, where he played a key role on the project management team that delivered the company’s first high-rise building in Arizona, before transitioning to Okland Capital.
Brennan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and an MRED from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business.
Jordan is a Director of Construction and Project Management at Breakwell. He leads the full construction cycle across a diverse portfolio, directing general contractors, architects, designers, civil engineers, and specialty consultants from construction start through certificate of occupancy. His scope spans budget management, schedule oversight, design coordination, permitting, and quality control, with a focused emphasis on seamless transitions to operations and asset management teams at building turnover.
Previously, Jordan was Senior Design and Construction Manager for Okland Capital and for Replay Destinations. His nearly two decades of experience spans across ultra-luxury residential, multifamily, retail, medical office, hospitality, municipal, high-rise office, justice, and infrastructure projects.
Notable projects include the Ascent at The Phoenician, a collection of ultra-luxury residences comprising the Mountainside Residences, Camelback Residences, Mountain Club, and Golf Villas, Tempe Watermark, and HonorHealth Neuroscience Institute. Earlier in his career, Jordan managed heavy civil and municipal projects including the Warm Springs Road/Decatur Road railroad underpass in Las Vegas, the Dixie Drive Interchange in St George, SR-24: 202 to Ellsworth Road, Mesa Light Rail Extension, Sky Harbor Terminal 4 expansion, Graham County Detention Center, and multiple parking structures across the Phoenix metro.
Jordan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Southern Utah University.
Jimmy Hawkins is a Director at Breakwell, where he leads projects from acquisition through the full development and investment lifecycle.
Prior to joining Breakwell, Jimmy was an Associate at Okland Capital, where he was involved in developing hospitality, multifamily, retail, and medical office assets. Notable work includes the development and repositioning of a $100 million, 168-key Autograph Collection hotel in Tempe on Arizona State University’s Novus campus, as well as the development of a $32 million, 68,000 square foot Class-A speculative medical office building in Gilbert, Arizona, adjacent to Dignity Health. His experience spans acquisitions, joint venture structuring, public-private partnerships, entitlements, development and construction management, leasing, financing, and disposition.
Jimmy began his career at Okland Construction, where he progressed from Project Engineer on the $250 million Phoenix Suns Arena renovation into roles in cost engineering and business development. He later earned his Master of Real Estate Development and transitioned into real estate development and investment.
Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management and a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED), both from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business.
Harrison is an Associate at Breakwell, where he supports the firm’s acquisitions and development efforts through financial analysis, underwriting, and project execution across the investment lifecycle.
Previously, Harrison worked at Larry H. Miller Real Estate as an Acquisitions and Development Analyst, where he was involved in sourcing and evaluating retail, multifamily, and mixed-use opportunities, supporting over $200M in development projects. He was also instrumental in the structuring and execution of a ~$70M PID bond for Daybreak, UT, while contributing to capital planning initiatives and future phase planning for the Downtown Daybreak master commercial development.
Additionally, Harrison has developed a breadth of experience across real estate, finance, and private equity, having interned at Cynosure Group, Cimmaron Healthcare Capital, NorthRock Companies, and O.C. Tanner. These roles provided exposure to investment analysis, underwriting, and transaction support across multiple asset classes and industries.
